About
Life. Born in September of 1987. Not dead yet, either. Been drawing since I could walk, maybe before that. My uncles art books got me focused, school gave me time for practice, living miles away from other kids I spent most of my time drawing on the computer. With the help of a refurbished Wacom tablet and a bootleg copy of Photoshop I began wasting my education and training my drawing hand. Years later I’m Great with a pencil, okay with a computer, and couldn’t tell you who the 13th president was, even if you gave me a list. In high school I won some awards, made some money, and worked as a Graphic Designer for 2 years, but none of that trumps the success I felt when I was granted my apprenticeship.
Work. I’ve been tattooing since 2007. I try to tackle a large variety of styles, and be as versatile as I can, though I prefer tattooing Pinups, Japanese themes, and my own off-beat take on American traditional tattoos. There’s not a whole lot I won’t tattoo as long as I have some elbow-room for artistic freedom. I don’t mind doing touch-ups, cover-ups, reworks, or even tribal, if you’re 100% positive that’s what you want. The only stupid tattoo is one not done well. That and getting your girlfriends name.
Passion. I believe if you’re going to do something, do it well. Do it the best you can. If you’re going to get your hands dirty, why not your elbows too? I spend as much time as I can trying to better myself as an artist. If I ’m not tattooing, I’m painting. I’f I’m not painting, I’m drawing. I know I don’t push myself the hardest that I could, but that’s the goal I’m working towards. Pushing myself so hard forward, I can’t push back.
Future.I live in a small apartment inhabited by two koi fish, an ass ton of minoes that were caught swimming in a road, a corgi named Loki, a cat named Audrey, a girlfriend named Brittany, and our soon to be offspring named Noah Jensen and my mother named Dawn. Brittany helps fight off the hordes of dirty laundry, Mom helps fight daycare, Audrey helps fight the carpet, Loki helps fight Audrey, and the fish help fight the little bit of clean air in this small living space. Hopefully soon I can add a taxidermy moose head to this already cluttered household.
